Down Under Knives The Outback
The outback is not a decorative piece - it has been created for hard use. This knife is a good example of successful design and high demand in the application.
It has a large number of special features that are of great interest to the user:
The 28 cm long blade forged from 440c steel, which is divided into two hardness zones (!). As a result, the cutting edge with 58-59 HRC is very sharp, the back of the blade with 45-46 HRC flexible and insensitive to break.
The handle - consisting of ebony, leather and brass - is mounted on a highly resilient angel that also withstands extreme effects. Parametry and the knob are made of solid, blasted brass.
The outback is supplied with a robust leather sheath, which appears like a real crocodile skin through a special surface embossing. There is also a special sharpening steel in a side pocket of the sheath.
